Northeastern Educational Research Association
Northeastern Educational Research Association (NERA) needed a new website that would more effectively support membership outreach and recruiting efforts, and better promote its annual conference. The existing website had an outdated and unprofessional appearance, was difficult to navigate, and offered few useful features for members. A major redesign was in order.
THE SOLUTION
We developed a new site with a professional look and feel that better reflected NERA’s membership and mission. We then updated and reorganized the site’s content, and created a navigation system that is user-friendly and intuitive. Finally, we improved the functionality of the site by adding online membership and event registration, as well as the ability to make payments online.
THE RESULTS
Since its launch, the new website has become an important means of enhancing membership services; an effective marketing tool in attracting and processing new members; and a strong contributor to NERA’s forty percent increase in conference attendance.
